Wei-Lun (Harry) Chao
Wei-Lun Chao was born in Miaoli county, Taiwan in 1987. He received his B.S degree (2009) from the Department of Communication Engineering at the National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan, and joined the exchange student program at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC), USA in spring, 2009. Later, he joined the Digital Image and Signal Processing Lab (DISP Lab), Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering (GICE), National Taiwan Univeristy (NTU). He received his M.S. degree (2011) there under the supervision of Associate Professor Jian-Jiun Ding, and then continued a one year study in DISP Lab until July, 2012. From August 8th, 2012 to July 7th 2013, he fulfilled the mandatory military service for Taiwan, (R. O. C.), and served as the chief counselor of company (second lieutenant). He is now a Ph.D. student in computer science (CS) at University of Southern California (USC), USA, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Fei Sha.
